Di cosa parla Animusic?

Animusic è un'azienda americana specializzata nella visualizzazione 3D di musica basata su MIDI. Fondata da Wayne Lytle, è costituita a New York e ha uffici in Texas e California. Il nome iniziale della società era Visual Music, cambiato in Animusic nel 1995. L'azienda è nota per le sue compilation Animusic di animazioni generate al computer, basate su eventi MIDI elaborati per guidare contemporaneamente la musica e l'azione sullo schermo, portando e corrispondendo a ogni suono. A differenza di molte altre visualizzazioni musicali, la musica guida l'animazione. Mentre altre produzioni potrebbero animare figure o personaggi con la musica, i modelli animati in Animusic vengono creati per primi e poi programmati per seguire ciò che la musica "dice loro". Le 'Solo cams' presenti nel DVD di Animusic mostrano come ogni strumento suoni effettivamente un brano musicale dall'inizio alla fine.

The closing Finale: Set atop an ancient mountain-top monument on a planet far from here... A massive stone grid comes alive with plasma-emitting satellite dishes, lasers, and percussion rings. We could say the music was out of this world, but it actually may just be from the 80's. Set on a peak in the mountains, the piece is performed on an Aztec-like pyramid, with a long series of small stairs leading up to it. The performance starts with the blue chorus beams appearing to trigger the transformation of the pyramid into the musical temple. At least three other planets or moons can be seen in the sky, one of which bears a strong resemblance to the planet Jupiter.
